Main responsibilities will be related to sales and business development activities to nurture relationships with key Utility and TSO customers and fully manage the direct sales process for their major tenders principally within the German market and with neighboring countries.

Projects typically will be at high voltage cable level and be turn-key in nature concerning either major underground cable systems, interconnectors between nations and/or export cable connections for grid access of offshore wind developing their national transmission grid.The HSE Manager is responsible to plan, implement, coordinate and supervise HSE activities within projects, as per project complexity, scope of work, company methods, contractual requirements and relevant laws, standards and regulations.

  • Identify and develop business opportunities for HV land & submarine cable systems within the defined market(s) with the aim of achieving and/or exceeding defined sales targets
  • Proactively lead and participate in tender preparations; participate in contract negotiations with clients  
  • Implement defined sales strategies to achieve profitable business, develop solid relationships with market players and to identify new revenue streams
  • Attain detailed knowledge of the defined market(s), its characteristics and trends, the relevant clients, competitors and other market players
  • Develop and manage regular reports related to tender phase, all relevant sales, market and competitor activity;
  • Analyse, cooperate with the Contract requirements and conditions;
  • Prepare relevant TPA/RAF as per Group requirement;Develop and retain close and long-term client relationships, providing on-going support to client to ensure they receive high quality customer
  • You are the right fit if you have/are: 
    Experience as a Sales Manager within industry related projects across a range of sectors and customers or alternatively technical background with a clear commercial mindset
  • Strong business development attitude, with experience “in the field” to develop and care for existing and new customer accounts
  • Good communications/marketing skills (front line interface with customers and third parties, comfortable to speak publicly e.g. presentations at seminars, exhibitions, conferences etc.)
  • Language skills: Fluent German and English
  • Problem solving and target oriented mentality
  • Interest to quickly learn and take responsibility
  • Ability to interact with full organization hierarchy of clients & contractors. Comfortable with all levels up to and including senior management (to CEO level) 
  • Experience/attitude in dealing with complex and high value bids and involve internal and external stakeholders from different functions within the Group.
  • Engineering background. Comfortable to discuss at least first level engineering issues with Clients
  • Pragmatism. Capability to set and to handle pragmatically the priorities
  • Responsible solving customer complaints, taking appropriate actions to ensure customer retention
  • Team-oriented, able to share competences, network, ideas and information with the rest of the team.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and extensively, predominantly within Europe

Zu Ihren Hauptaufgaben gehören Vertriebs- und Geschäftsentwicklungsaktivitäten zur Pflege der Beziehungen zu wichtigen Kunden aus den Bereichen Energieversorger und Übertragungsnetzbetreiber sowie die umfassende Betreuung des Direktvertriebsprozesses für deren große Ausschreibungen, vor allem auf dem deutschen Markt und in den Nachbarländern.

Die Projekte betreffen in der Regel Hochspannungskabel und sind schlüsselfertiger Natur. Dabei handelt es sich entweder um große Erdkabelsysteme, Verbindungsleitungen zwischen Ländern und/oder Exportkabelverbindungen für den Netzanschluss von Offshore-Windparks, die das nationale Übertragungsnetz ausbauen.

  • Geschäftsmöglichkeiten für Hochspannungs-Land- und Seekabelsysteme in den definierten Märkten identifizieren und erschließen, mit dem Ziel, festgelegte Umsatzziele zu erreichen und/oder zu übertreffen
  • Proaktive Leitung und Mitwirkung bei der Vorbereitung von Ausschreibungen; Teilnahme an Vertragsverhandlungen mit Kunden 
  • Umsetzung festgelegter Vertriebsstrategien zur Erzielung profitabler Geschäfte, zum Aufbau solider Beziehungen zu Marktteilnehmern und zur Identifizierung neuer Einnahmequellen; Erwerb detaillierter Kenntnisse über die definierten Märkte, deren Merkmale und Trends sowie über die relevanten Kunden, Wettbewerber und andere Marktteilnehmer
  • Erstellung Berichte zur Ausschreibungsphase sowie zu allen relevanten Vertriebs-, Markt- und Wettbewerberaktivitäten;
  • Analyse und Abstimmung mit den Vertragsanforderungen und -bedingungen;
    • Erstellung relevanter TPA/RAF gemäß den Anforderungen des konzerns; Aufbau und Pflege enger und langfristiger Kundenbeziehungen sowie kontinuierliche Unterstützung der Kunden, zur Sicherstellung eines hochwertigen Kundenservices

  • Erfahrung als Vertriebler in branchenbezogenen Projekten in verschiedenen Sektoren und mit unterschiedlichen Kunden oder alternativ technischer Hintergrund mit ausgeprägter kaufmännischer Denkweise
  • Ausgeprägte Ausrichtung auf die Geschäftsentwicklung, mit praktischer Erfahrung „vor Ort“ bei der Akquise und Betreuung bestehender und neuer Kunden
  • Gute Kommunikations- und Marketingfähigkeiten (direkter Kontakt mit Kunden und Dritten, Sicherheit im öffentlichen Auftreten, z. B. bei Präsentationen auf Seminaren, Messen, Konferenzen usw.)
  • Sprachkenntnisse: Fließendes Deutsch und fießendes Englisch
  • Problemlösungsorientierung und zielgerichtete Denkweise
  • Interesse daran, schnell zu lernen und Verantwortung zu übernehmen
  • Fähigkeit, mit allen Hierarchieebenen von Kunden und Auftragnehmern zu interagieren. Sicherer Umgang mit allen Ebenen bis einschließlich der Geschäftsleitung (bis zur CEO-Ebene)
  • Erfahrung und Einstellung im Umgang mit komplexen und hochkarätigen Ausschreibungen unter Einbeziehung interner und externer Stakeholder aus verschiedenen Funktionsbereichen innerhalb der Gruppe.
  • Technischer Hintergrund. Sicherheit im Austausch mit Kunden über technische Fragestellungen zumindest auf der ersten Ebene
  • Pragmatismus. Fähigkeit, Prioritäten pragmatisch zu setzen und zu handhaben
  • Verantwortungsbewusste Bearbeitung von Kundenbeschwerden und Ergreifen geeigneter Maßnahmen zur Sicherstellung der Kundenbindung
  • Teamorientiert, fähig, Kompetenzen, Netzwerke, Ideen und Informationen mit dem Rest des Teams zu teilen.
  • Bereitschaft zu häufigen und ausgedehnten Dienstreisen, vorwiegend innerhalb Europas
