The Senior Solutions Engineer at Rhombus Power is an experienced technical leader responsible for driving the architecture and deployment of our most complex AI-powered solutions. You will leverage significant previous solutions engineering experience to solve global business and national security challenges. This role requires a seasoned software generalist capable of operating independently to deliver production-grade code across the full stack (DevOps, frontend, and backend) while serving as a trusted technical advisor to senior customer stakeholders. You will bring effective, real-world solutions to life for our biggest clients.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead the technical architecture, design, and implementation phases of large-scale AI solution deployments with strategic national security partners.
- →Act as the subject matter expert on all Rhombus Power products and technologies, providing deep technical consultation to influence partner strategy and optimize solution effectiveness.
- →Be a highly autonomous software generalist, quickly developing, iterating, and deploying high-quality, full-stack code (DevOps, backend systems, and sophisticated frontend UIs) to meet evolving mission needs.
- →Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior Solutions Engineers, fostering best practices for coding, integration, and customer engagement.
- →Work closely with Rhombus Power Product Managers and Engineering teams to synthesize complex customer requirements and directly influence the development of new products and platform features.
- →Lead complex troubleshooting efforts and technical deep dives to ensure system reliability and performance in mission-critical environments.
- →Travel to customer sites for deployment leadership, high-level technical consultation, and operational oversight.

Requirements
~1 min read- A minimum of 7 years of total professional work experience in software engineering, technical consulting, or a related field.
- Significant previous experience (3+ years preferred) in a Solutions Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, or similar customer-embedded role, focusing on complex enterprise software.
- Expert-level command as a software generalist, capable of architecting and implementing solutions across the technology stack (DevOps, backend, and frontend).
- Deep proficiency in modern programming languages, cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), data pipelines, and security best practices.
- Experience with Linux/Unix systems and system administration
- Proven ability to lead technical discussions, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and drive major projects to successful completion in fast-paced environments.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the capacity to translate high-level mission objectives into concrete, technical solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
