Do you take pride in preparing fresh, delicious meals and creating dining experiences people remember? RiverMead, a not-for-profit LifePlan Community (CCRC) in Peterborough, NH, is looking for a skilled, reliable Cook to join our culinary team.
- A schedule that works: Full-time hours from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, so you get your mornings back and still finish at a reasonable hour.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including soups, salads, sandwiches, entrées, sides, and desserts
- →Support food service across our dining venues: the Pub, Bistro, Health Center, and Main Kitchen
- →Meet standards for food quality, presentation, consistency, and portion control
- →Help with meal prep, production, plating, and service
- →Follow all food safety, sanitation, infection control, and HACCP guidelines
- →Monitor and record food and refrigeration temperatures
- →Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and safe
- →Operate kitchen equipment safely and help with routine equipment care
- →Work with chefs, cooks, servers, and the Dining Services team to deliver an exceptional dining experience
- →Pitch in wherever needed to keep meal service running smoothly
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- At least one year of professional cooking experience (preferred)
- Experience in restaurants, healthcare, senior living, hospitality, catering, or institutional food service is a plus
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
- Ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- A passion for serving others and an eagerness to learn
