We are dedicated to delivering customer experiences and solutions that offer significant economic and environmental benefits. As a Sales Engineer, you bring technical expertise and customer-focused engagement skills to support the advancement of our products to our customers and partners.  


Key Responsibilities 

  • Work closely with Data Center Architects, Chief Information Officers, and Technology Directors to showcase the unique capabilities of our solutions and support Sales Executives' efforts 
  • Align technical solutions with sales strategies by working with Cerio’s Engineering and Product teams, aiding in the execution of effective sales plans 
  • Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to customers, partners, and prospects, making our cutting-edge solutions shine 
  • Aid in creating formal sales plans, technical proposals, Statements of Work, customer quotations, and cost estimates that align with strategic objectives 
  • Ensure diligent tracking of sales opportunities in the CRM system, providing accurate updates and insights to support decision-making 

 

What we are looking for 

  • Experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer or Subject Matter Expert in the Composable Disaggregated Infrastructure industry, will be given preference 
  • Proven ability to thrive in a challenging and rapidly changing start-up environment 
  • Demonstrated creative, technical, and analytical skills that have resulted in innovative and flexible solutions for prior customers 
  • Proven history of building effective partnerships with Sales Executives to meet or exceed sales targets 
  • Deep understanding of industry solutions, technology, and product offerings 
  • Skilled in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM software with the ability to craft high-quality, winning sales proposals 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation, and presentation skills 
  • Ability to travel to various customer locations as needed, within Canada and the United States 

 

Your technical background will include 

  • Knowledge of Data Center Management and Operations Applications, Tools, and Methods 
  • Experience with Data Center Systems Design and Deployment, including Converged and HyperConverged Systems 
  • Familiarity with Data Center Interconnect Technologies (e.g., PCIe, CXL, Infiniband, NvLink, etc.). 
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python 
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code platforms like Terraform and Ansible

This role offers a competitive compensation package consisting of a base salary plus performance-based sales incentives, a comprehensive health benefits package, and time-off programs. Compensation may vary based on experience, skills, full total compensation package offered, market benchmarks, and internal equity considerations.
