Salesworx is proud to partner with one of South Africa’s leading meat processing and distribution companies. We are seeking an Internal Sales Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience engaging with on-consumption channels, including restaurants and hospitality establishments, in addition to retail stores. Responsibilities Performance Management Assist the Sales Manager by implementing a structured performance evaluation process, recognising achievements, whilst addressing areas for improvement. Hold meetings with the food service and telesales team to review performance, communicate the sales manager’s objectives, and address any challenges. Execution of Sales Strategy Work together with the marketing team to synchronise promotional campaigns with telesales initiatives for optimal effectiveness. Implement and maintain standardised sales processes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Leverage technology and Customer Relation Management (CRM) systems to streamline operations. Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) Establish and ensure that the KPI’s that measure team performance, revenue growth and customer satisfaction are completed. Review the KPI’s regularly to identify service trends Assist the Sales manager in preparing sales reports for senior management, highlighting performance against goals and areas of concern. Customer Relationship Management (CRM’s) Maintain best practices for customer interactions, ensuring a consistent and positive experience across all touch points. Implement and monitor a customer satisfaction system to enhance service delivery. Assist the Sales manager and Sales Support in handling customer suggestions, compliments and complaints. Maintain a system tracking company returns, no-stocks and quality issues to report to the relative departments. Coordinate with accounting and sales support to ensure easy transition from credit application to account servicing. Communication, Cross-Functional Collaboration and Reporting Attend regular meetings with other departments to exchange insights and coordinate goals. Create clear communication channels within the team and between departments to promote information sharing and collaboration. Regular meetings to be held with the Sales Manager for reporting and strategy development. Structured Onboarding: New and Existing Employees Assist the Sales Manager in developing comprehensive onboarding programs to equip new and existing hires with the necessary knowledge and tools to obtain Deli-Co’s KPI, CRM & sales objectives. Requirements Qualifications Education: High School diploma or equivalent Advantageous: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field Experience 5+ years of experience in sales management A proven track record of achieving sales targets. Experience in FMCG sales/marketing is advantageous Skills Strong communication and negotiation skills. Strong administrative skills Proficiency in MS Office packages. Self-motivated and results-driven. Passion for people and upliftment Problem solving Team player Entrepreneurial Non-smoker with sober habits Healthy, energetic and positive attitude towards life Benefits Salary: R50 000 - R60 000 CTC Cellphone Laptop Travel allowance Two meals covered (breakfast & lunch) #LI-KT1
