We are looking for a Travel Sales Manager– Destination Experts .As part of the Travel team, you will lead the Destination Expert (DE) team, driving salesperformance across Southeast Asia and island destinations. You will be responsible for coaching, enabling, and inspiring the team to consistently exceed booking targets while
ensuring every traveller receives expert guidance and a seamless booking experience.
Thisis a player-coach role, combining people leadership with individual sales ownership.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Leadership & Target Ownership: Own the team's GMV, driving consistent
achievement and overachievement of monthly booking targets while carrying an
individual sales target.
2. Team Coaching & Performance Management: Coach Destination Experts through
daily pipeline reviews, remove conversion blockers, improve sales effectiveness, and
build a high-performance sales culture.
3. Sales Analytics & Reporting: Monitor lead quality, conversion metrics, destination
performance, and sales productivity to identify trends and drive data-backed
improvements.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Destination Strategists to translate
destination insights into actionable sales playbooks and work closely with Operations
to proactively prevent customer escalations.
5. Destination Excellence: Enable the team with relevant destination knowledge,
ensuring they have the right information to confidently advise customers and close
bookings.
What You'll Need:
● 5–7 years of experience in travel sales with a proven track record of selling high-value
holiday packages
● Prior experience leading, mentoring, or coaching a sales team
● Strong consultative selling and pipeline management skills
● Deep knowledge of Southeast Asian destinations including Bali, Thailand, Vietnam,
Maldives, and Singapore
● Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to improve sales performance
● Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
● High ownership mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
