Line Cook- Canton

We are looking for a great Line Cook that enjoys a fast-paced, high volume, high quality, creative and fun environment. Plan, prep, set up and provide quality service in all areas of food production for menu items and specials in accordance with departmental quality standards and recipes. Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment. This position description incorporates the core responsibilities of the job. It recognizes that other related duties not specifically mentioned might also be performed, and that not all responsibilities may be carried out depending on operational needs.  

• →Manage your station on the line with professionalism, cleanliness, and excellence in quality. 
• →Must have excellent attention to detail, and accuracy with controlled speed/tempo. 
• →Clear thinker, remain calm and resolve problems using good judgment 
• →Work well under pressure of meeting production schedules and timelines for client food orders. 
• →Operate, clean and maintain all equipment required in job functions. 
• →Ability to follow and execute recipes accurately. 
• →Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team with a great attitude and support. 
• →Effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral form. 
• →Strictly abide by state sanitation/health regulations. 
• →Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment; use equipment and tools only as intended, properly and safely. 
• →Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies and procedures.  
• →2+ years in a Line Cook role. 
• →High volume, scratch, or upscale kitchen experience. 
• → 

• →Adhere to all work rules, procedures and policies established by the Bakery, including, but not limited to, those contained in the employee handbook. 
• →Kneads operates 7 days a week. Department schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands and employees may be asked to work shifts other than those they prefer or normally work. 

• Previous restaurant experience. 

• Ability to stand and walk for a long period of time. 
• Ability to carry and lift heavy objects. 
• Good oral communication skills. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
• Organization and time management skills. 
• Cook Experience 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills.
