Project Manager II

• →Manage multiple projects or a larger project, overseeing all phases from proposal development to project closeout.
• →Assemble project teams, assign individual responsibilities, and identify appropriate resources.
• →Develop, define, and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• →Interface with internal and external customers or field-based employees on technical matters as needed.
• →Communicate project status with senior project managers, functional area managers, or program managers.
• →Track progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, and other performance indicators.
• →Prepare reports to keep stakeholders informed of project status.
• →Ensure timely completion of projects by developing and adhering to schedules.
• →Remain agile and flexible to adapt to frequent changes in project requirements or scope.

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in project management and/or in a related or technical field.
• Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
• Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of related experience is required.
• Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
• Demonstrated experience in managing a complex project with multi-function team.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills & capability to meet schedules.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
• Experience managing projects requiring Earned Value Management.
• Experience with risk management planning and documentation.
• Experience managing project scope and scope creep during project execution.
• Experience in resource planning and management during project execution.
• Knowledge of Kaizen & Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 & CMMI process standards.
• Familiarity with government contracting and regulations.

• Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Capacity to work in a hybrid environment, balancing office and remote work.
