Client Success/Account Manager

At Sofueled, we build custom web applications, mobile apps, cloud solutions, and digital products for clients across different industries. Once a project is signed, you're the person who keeps everything moving in the right direction.
This isn't just an account management role. You'll work closely with clients and our engineering team to make sure expectations are clear, communication stays smooth, and projects are delivered successfully.
Some days will be easy. Others will involve difficult conversations, changing priorities, and handling escalations. If you're someone who stays calm, communicates well, and enjoys finding solutions, we'd like to meet you.
- Be the primary point of contact for your assigned clients.
- Build strong relationships and become someone clients trust.
- Coordinate with developers, designers, and project teams to keep projects on track.
- Understand technical discussions well enough to translate them into simple business language for clients.
- Draft professional emails, meeting summaries, proposals, and client updates.
- Lead client calls, set expectations, and keep everyone aligned.
- Handle escalations confidently and work towards practical resolutions.
- Manage scope discussions, timelines, and priorities with both clients and internal teams.
- Identify risks early and help resolve them before they impact delivery.
- Look for opportunities to grow existing accounts through strong client relationships.
- 3-5 years of experience in Client Success, Account Management, Customer Success, or Project Coordination within an IT services or software company.
- A good understanding of software development, including web applications, mobile apps, APIs, cloud services, AL/ML and the software development lifecycle.
- Excellent written communication and drafting skills.
- Strong verbal communication and confidence when speaking with clients.
- Experience handling client escalations and managing difficult conversations professionally.
- Good negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Someone who can explain technical concepts in a way that non-technical clients understand.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple client accounts at the same time.
- Stay composed when things don't go according to plan.
- Take ownership instead of waiting for someone else to solve the problem.
- Can balance client expectations with delivery realities.
- Build relationships through honesty, consistency, and proactive communication.
- Believe that clear communication can prevent most problems.
