Sr. Backend Engineer (Solaire Online)

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain backend services, APIs, and system components for Solaire Online. Build reliable and scalable backend solutions that support product features, business operations, and platform growth. Integrate with internal systems, external vendors, payment providers, gaming platforms, reporting services, and other third-party systems as required. Analyze business and technical requirements, propose backend solutions, and translate requirements into maintainable technical implementation. Improve backend system performance, stability, monitoring, error handling, and maintainability. Support production issue investigation, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution. Collaborate with frontend engineers, QA engineers, DevOps, security, product owners, and business users to deliver end-to-end solutions. Participate in code reviews and ensure backend code quality, security, reliability, and maintainability. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, API documentation, implementation notes, and support handover materials. Ensure backend implementation follows company standards, security requirements, audit requirements, and compliance expectations. Mentor junior or mid-level engineers when required and contribute to engineering best practices. Requirements Solid professional experience in backend software development. Hands-on experience with backend programming languages such as Java, Node.js, Go, C#, Python, or other relevant backend technologies. Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs, backend services, and service-to-service integrations. Good understanding of relational databases and SQL, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle. Experience with system integration, API authentication, data validation, logging, error handling, and backend security practices. Familiarity with version control, CI/CD processes, deployment workflows, and software development lifecycle practices. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and support business-critical systems. Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience in online gaming, casino systems, fintech, payments, e-commerce, or other high-transaction digital platforms. Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, microservices, message queues, caching, or distributed system design. Experience with monitoring, observability, production support, incident handling, and performance optimization. Understanding of secure coding, data privacy, access control, audit logging, and regulatory or compliance-driven environments. Experience working with third-party vendors or external platform integrations.
