  • Role Purpose: Transition our digital marketing apparatus completely in-house— building the high-level growth strategy, optimizing our Shopify ecosystem, and executing hands-on across PPC, SEO, and system integrations.
  • Employment Type: Full-Time Independent Contractor (Offshore)

Note: We know one person cannot carry a massive ecosystem forever. Once you assess our landscape and we identify your primary area of deficiency or bandwidth limits (e.g., if you are brilliant at PPC but weaker on deep technical SEO), we will look to bring on a second, specialized offshore support person to work directly with you.

Responsibilities

  • Roadmap Architecture: Build, maintain, and execute our comprehensive 3-, 6-, and 12-month digital growth plans, completely replacing our external agency's legacy marketing strategy.
  • Paid Acquisition (PPC): Own the hands-on management, optimization, budgeting, and performance tracking of our paid traffic channels to drive predictable revenue.
  • Organic Dominance (SEO & AEO): Maximize our organic search footprint using advanced toolsets (Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console). Optimize our content architecture not just for traditional search engines, but for modern Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) to capture AI-driven traffic queries.
  • Data-Driven Copywriting: Write and deploy high-converting ad copy, landing page headlines, and digital marketing hooks that align with our brand's voice.
  • Shopify Administration (Required): Serve as the internal owner of our Shopify environment, ensuring product pages, tracking pixels, and backend settings are operating flawlessly.
  • Workflow Automation & Integrations: Connect and optimize our core digital stack—utilizing tools like Zapier, Klaviyo, and Pipedrive to build automated lead, customer retention, and data-sync pipelines.
  • Troubleshooting & Tools: Act as a technical troubleshooter. You should be highly comfortable using generative AI models (Claude, ChatGPT) to assist with tool configurations, patch basic bugs, and manage active marketing integrations.
  • Performance Transparency: Move away from standard agency vanity metrics. Build clean, internal reporting dashboards that outline actual business KPIs, cost per acquisition (CPA), and customer lifetime value (LTV).
  • Self-Directed Execution: Manage your own daily workflow without micro-management. You will partner directly with executive leadership, translating abstract revenue targets into executed marketing workflows.

  • 5–8+ Years of Omnichannel Marketing Experience: A verifiable track record of building and executing growth plans for digital brands. Agency-owner or high-level growth consultant experience is a massive bonus.
  • Mandatory Shopify Expertise: Deep, practical familiarity with the Shopify platform is strictly required. You must understand how to navigate its ecosystem, handle app integrations, and manage backend configurations natively.
  • The "Strategist + Doer" DNA: You are someone who can confidently stand in a room and build a 6-month marketing model, and then immediately open your laptop and personally build the ad campaigns, set up the tracking links, and run the Ahrefs audit.
  • Deep Tech-Stack Literacy: Mastery of Ahrefs, Klaviyo, Zapier, and main paid ad managers. Comfort leveraging generative AI models to accelerate copywriting and workflows.
  • Exclusion of Socials: Your expertise is strictly rooted in numbers, search mechanics, websites, user experience, and conversion optimization. You do not need to manage social media communities or organic lifestyle posting.
  • Elite Professional English: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You must be able to articulate complex marketing theories, algorithmic pivots, and data results clearly to leadership.

  • Shopify Web Development Skills: Prior experience with front-end or technical web development within the Shopify environment (e.g., editing Liquid files, patching custom HTML/CSS bugs, managing advanced application APIs). Note: This is not a deal-breaker, as heavy development overhauls can be outsourced, but a candidate who can execute light dev work independently is highly valued.
