Host / Catering Assistant | Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital 30 Hours per Week | Permanent | Part-Time

Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating a positive experience for patients? Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital is looking for a friendly and reliable Host/Catering Assistant to join our Catering Team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in providing high-quality food and beverage services to patients, visitors and colleagues within a leading private healthcare environment.

Hours & Working Pattern

30 hours per week
Permanent, Part-Time
Shifts worked between 6:00am and 9:00pm
5 days out of 7, including weekends on a rota basis
Monday to Sunday flexibility required

Key Responsibilities

Deliver meals and refreshments to patients in a professional and compassionate manner.
Assist with food preparation and presentation in line with food safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout catering areas.
Support the smooth running of the hospital restaurant and patient dining services.
Ensure excellent customer service is provided to patients, visitors and colleagues.
Follow all health and safety, food hygiene and infection prevention procedures.

Who We're Looking For

Previous catering, hospitality, customer service or healthcare experience is desirable but not essential.
A positive, friendly and caring approach.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic.
Basic food hygiene knowledge would be advantageous.
