Kitchen Assistant

• Have a min. 2 years of Kitchen Assistant experience.
• Have an appropriate qualification as a Kitchen Assistant.
• Be engaging, honest, genuine, and kind.
• Have excellent teamwork, communication and collaboration skills.
• Have strong values that align to the Christian ethos of the school
• Have a clear criminal clearance certificate.

OUR EXPECTATIONS ARE THAT YOU WOULD:

• Ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the catering department, delivering the highest work standard in all aspects of catering.
• Take a hands-on approach in every aspect of kitchen work, managing time and working under pressure.
• Assist as directed with the preparation of food.
• Ensure a consistently high standard of cleanliness in all areas of work.
• Ensure compliance with all Fire, Health and safety, HACCP & food and safety/hygiene regulations.
• Ensure that all equipment is maintained to an excellent standard of cleanliness.
• Assist with the preparation of the food for functions / events.
