Position
Solutions Architect
- Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL
- Security Clearance: Active Clearance Required - U.S. citizenship required
- Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 Depending on Experience and Education
- Travel: 10%

Position Summary
SURVICE Engineering is currently seeking a Solutions Architect to support our Gulf Coast Operation. You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities of Solutions Architect

Develop and communicate end‑to‑end solution architectures spanning cloud services, enterprise applications, data pipelines, and software systems.

Partner directly with customers, PMs, CORs, and engineering teams to translate mission requirements into actionable designs.

Serve as a technical lead, advising engineering teams on design decisions, best practices, DevSecOps, CI/CD, cybersecurity, and system integration.

Ensure solution architectures meet reliability, security, scalability, and compliance goals.

Create high‑quality architecture documentation, diagrams, whitepapers, and briefings.

Support proposal development, technical strategy, and capture activities for new opportunities.

Identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies throughout design and delivery phases.

Assist with system accreditation (ATO) support as required.
Minimum Qualifications of Solutions Architect
Bachelor's Degree in Technical Field of study and 5+ years of relevant experience. Candidates are not required to possess all qualifications; is you possess some of the desired qualifications, please apply.
Desired Experience
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Systems Architect, or comparable technical leadership role.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or similar).
- Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and modern development practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross‑functional teams and communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and secure system design.
- Strong problem-solving and systems‑thinking skills.
