About the Role

  • Mode Expertise: Manage all major modes and services, and educate internal teams on mode-specific capabilities and limitations.
  • Carrier Development & Management: Leverage an established network of flatbed carriers to secure reliable, scalable capacity. Foster long-term carrier relationships built on trust, transparency, and mutual success.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of market shifts and rate trends. Monitor capacity dynamics and freight demand to make proactive recommendations and adjustments.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with customer sales, pricing, operations, and compliance teams to ensure execution aligns with carrier strategy and customer expectations.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Oversight: Possess a working knowledge of DOT regulations, securement standards, permitting, weight laws, and safety practices specific to the flatbed sector. Ensure compliance across all flatbed moves.

Education & Experience
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in carrier sales role 
  • Deep knowledge of diverse modes, market behaviour, and industry-specific regulations
  • Strong carrier network and established industry relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-driven mindset
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making abilities
  • Experience working in a fast-paced brokerage or 3PL environment preferred
