Cyber & AI Security Lead (Toronto, ON)

About the Role
TRAFFIX is building the future of logistics with cloud, data, automation and AI at the center of how we operate. As we move faster, security becomes even more critical. We’re looking for a Cyber & AI Security Leader to take ownership of our security strategy end to end.

Reporting directly to the CTO, you’ll lead the TRAFFIX Security Program, strengthen our Microsoft and Azure security environment, and help define how we securely adopt AI, Copilot and autonomous agents across the organization. You’ll have the mandate to influence technology decisions, work directly with senior leadership, partner with Microsoft engineers, and build security into the way TRAFFIX develops, deploys and scales technology.

• Own the strategy: Lead the TRAFFIX Security Program and advise the CTO and executive team.
• Shape AI security: Have a security seat on our AI Governance & Enablement Committee.

What you’ll lead

• Build and drive our overall cybersecurity strategy and roadmap
• Establish security guardrails for AI, Copilot and AI agents
• Strengthen Azure cloud and application security
• Own identity, privileged access and data protection
• Lead Sentinel, Defender, vulnerability management and incident response
• Drive SOC 2 readiness, risk management and penetration testing
• Lead and develop our security analyst team

What you bring

• 7+ years in information security, including 2+ years in leadership
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure and the Microsoft security stack
• Experience with cloud identity, incident response and security architecture
• Knowledge of SOC 2, NIST CSF, CIS Controls or ISO 27001
• Practical experience securing AI tools, enterprise data or AI agents
• A leadership style that is pragmatic, collaborative and comfortable working with both executives and engineers
• Nice to have: CISSP, CISM, SC-100, AZ-500, SC-200, AI governance credentials, KQL, Security Copilot, Azure DevOps or GitHub experience.
