RN Clinical Expeditor

• Associate's degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelor's in nursing, or Master's in nursing
• 3 years nursing or case management experience
• Current Registered Nurse License in the state of Arkansas
• BLS and ACLS Certified
• Strong computer skills and aptitude

• Master’s Degree in Nursing or Healthcare related field
• 1-year supervisory experience in healthcare
• Certified Case Manager
• Proficiency with Epic Care Management module

• Triage alerts and situational awareness via investigation per the electronic medical record and additional clinical resources.

• Communicate and partner with the Associate Directors of Nursing during times of movement prioritization within a specific area/location/nursing unit.

• Manage deviations from patient care pathways; resolve bottlenecks, optimize and prioritization with support services and a variety of clinical departments.

• Provide insight and information and work with Command Center leadership to address patient flow issues.

• In concert with Case Management, strategize and prioritize needs for long length of stay or complex discharge patients.

• Collaborate with Command Center operations, Acute Care leadership and Quality to identify process improvement strategies, patient length of stay (LOS), trend delays, support quality initiatives and enhance patient safety.

• Define patient activity triggers and feedback mechanisms to inform operational team members, physician leaders, and administrative team to mitigate over capacity situations.

• Develop strategies to manage surge in patient volumes

• Performs other duties as assigned
