We are looking for a Cook to join our team at Oolong Hostel in Howlong, NSW.

• Knowledge and experience in working to the compliance of the Food Safety Standards to HACCP level

• Strong time management and communication skills

• Understanding of residents' rights, person-centred care and dignity of risk

• Ability to manage change efficiently and effectively

• Ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Outlook)

• Certificate III & IV in Commercial Cookery/Hospitality

• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate

• Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and special dietary needs

• Experience in aged care desirable

• Current First Aid Certificate desirable

• Excellent communication skills

• Team player who is highly motivated

• Availability to work weekend shifts

The successful candidate is required to have completed or be willing to undertake the following:

• Vaccination in accordance with UPA’s Immunisation and Vaccination Policy (including proof of the required doses of a TGA-approved COVID-19 vaccine and annual influenza vaccination)

• National Criminal History Check

• Pre-Employment Medical Assessment
