About the opportunity:

The Workers Compensation Specialist reports to the Director of Occupational Health to develop, maintain and manage Vail Health’s Workers Compensation program.

What you will do:
    1. Performs patient registration and associated tasks which includes Employer and Insurance information.
    2. Triages, schedules and coordinates workers compensation patient appointments.
    3. Partners with Employers and Work Comp insurance companies to assist patients with their M164 form and back to work processes.
    4. Tracks and manages all patient cases throughout the workers compensation process and obtains patient claim and contact information.
    5. Coordinates all patient referrals and authorizations from insurance.
    6. Assists overall department with administrative needs such as data entry and report generation.
    7. Assists with drug screens and alcohol testing.
    8. Assists with training and orientation

What you will need:
 
Experience:
  • 2 years Patient Access Representative experience required
  • 1 year Workers Compensation experience preferred
License(s) & Certification(s):
