Automation Manager - Business Operations (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

→Analyze our Business Operations systems and processes, find what can be automated, and build and implement those automations yourself.
→Drive AI-based automation of order management and order processing workflows, from simple ETL pipelines to agentic integrations.
→Act as the central contact for all ERP-related digital initiatives, including our move from Microsoft Navision to Microsoft Dynamics 365, working closely with Business and IT.
→Develop and maintain interfaces (APIs and similar) between ERP, CRM (Salesforce), and other connected systems.
→Improve data quality through automated validation workflows and reduce manual effort across the team.
→Roll out automation solutions from Germany to our international entities and support the change management, so colleagues understand and adopt new ways of working.
→Report directly to the Head of Global Business Operations and work with a team of 19 colleagues worldwide.
→Support daily operations during peak periods, such as half-year and year-end closing.

Requirements

→Hands-on experience automating processes in CRM and ERP environments. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, Azure, or the Microsoft Power Platform is a strong plus.
→Good understanding of ERP data models, end-to-end ERP processes, and how they connect to other systems.
→Experience designing and implementing APIs and system integrations, and using AI tools to make operations more efficient.
→A background in or good understanding of operational areas such as order processing, contract management, or customer service.
→A hands-on, ownership-driven attitude: you drive topics on your own and turn ideas into working solutions, not presentations.
→Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with stakeholders at all levels.
→Fluent German and English (at least C1 level).
→Willingness to travel occasionally to our international locations.
→Hybrid work from our Munich office (ideally 2 days per week on site).
