Quick Summary

Overview

Catch it before it ships. Fix it before it matters. We build award-winning smart glasses in Vienna - hardware, firmware, software, all under one roof.

Technical Tools
EngineeringQa Engineer

We build award-winning smart glasses in Vienna - hardware, firmware, software, all under one roof. Before any product reaches assembly or production, it has to pass through you. You're embedded in the development process - working side by side with software and hardware engineers, running feedback loop after feedback loop until everything works the way it should.

This isn't end-of-line checking. It's hands-on, technical, and right in the middle of the action.

Responsibilities

~1 min read
  • Test software throughout the development cycle and feed findings directly back to developers
  • Define test plans and test cases that reflect real product requirements - and get your hands dirty executing them
  • Work in tight feedback loops with the software team, embedding testing early rather than at the end
  • Design and maintain automated test suites (unit, integration, regression) alongside manual/exploratory testing
  • Track defects, report clearly, and stay on it until issues are properly resolved
  • Sign off only when it's ready - your approval is what moves a release forward

Requirements

~1 min read
  • 3+ years of relevant software testing experience - or equivalent certification (e.g. ISTQB)
  • Solid understanding of testing principles and methodologies (test strategy, coverage, risk-based testing)
  • Basic knowledge of mechanics and electronics
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g. pytest, Selenium, Cypress, or similar)
  • Solid scripting/programming skills, preferably Python, to write and maintain test scripts and tooling
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build processes
  • You can read technical requirements and translate them into meaningful test scenarios
  • Nice to have: prior exposure to firmware or embedded software testing (e.g. Raspberry Pi, Arduino) and familiarity with digital interfaces/protocols (I2C, SPI, USB)

What We Offer

~1 min read
  • Salary: €3.500 – €4.800 gross/month depending on experience
  • Yearly public transport card (Vienna)
  • Workation within the EEA
  • Dog-friendly offices
  • "Inspire Days" – time to learn and recharge
  • A front-row seat to how a deep-tech hardware product gets built - from PCB to shipped device
  • Small, international team where your impact is visible every day

Ready to be the reason our products are bulletproof before they ever reach production? We can't wait to meet you. Send us your application and let's take off together!
