QA Automation Engineer II

The QA Engineer II (Intermediate Level) is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of enterprise banking applications through a combination of manual and automated testing. The role involves validating backend processes, APIs, system integrations, and file-based data exchanges while ensuring end-to-end functionality, data integrity, and application performance. The engineer will collaborate closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Data Engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

3–5 years of experience in software testing, preferably within the banking, financial services, or fintech domain.

Strong expertise in test automation, with demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks, rather than simply executing automated test cases.

Hands-on experience with:

→UI Test Automation: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent frameworks.
→API Testing: Rest Assured, Postman, or similar tools.
→Database Testing: SQL and backend/data validation.
→CI/CD & Continuous Testing: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent.
→Performance Testing & Engineering.
→Event-Driven Systems: Kafka or similar messaging platforms.
→Cloud-Native Applications: Preferably Azure and Kubernetes.
