Our bakers start their day early, transforming an empty kitchen into a vibrant bakery filled with the delightful aromas of freshly baked goods. This role is perfect for those who are passionate about bread-making and eager to learn, regardless of their previous experience.

Responsibilities

→Work with a small team to bake a variety of products from scratch each morning, adhering to our carefully crafted recipes.
→Maintain a clean and organized bakery environment while delivering exceptional customer service.
→Read production schedules and recipes, measure and mix ingredients, mold and shape dough, and operate baking equipment.

Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Frequent lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 22 kg (50 lbs).
Frequent reaching, bending, and turning while performing baking tasks.
Constant use of hands for mixing, shaping, and operating baking equipment.

Early risers who can start shifts as early as 2:00 AM.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn, regardless of previous experience.
Team players with strong communication and organizational skills.
A commitment to producing high-quality baked goods while maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the bakery.

With over 130 locations, COBS Bread serves fresh and delightful baked goods to communities across Canada every day. Any unsold items are donated daily to various local charities and food banks.
