ShopAR Engineering Manager

ShopAR is redefining e-commerce by transforming traditional product photography into dynamic 3D and AR-powered experiences. Our end-to-end platform enables 3D Digital Twins, AR Try-On, and Virtual Content Creation, enhancing product detail pages (PDPs) at scale. We’ve partnered with Zalando, one of the world’s largest fashion e-commerce platforms, and are rapidly expanding our reach.

Our technology stack includes:

• 3D Digital Twin Creation – High-fidelity 3D scanning at scale (30,000+ products annually).
• Automated 3D Model Generation – Proprietary AI-driven software that minimizes manual intervention.
• 3D Content Management & Delivery – A scalable 3D CMS with a custom web plugin for seamless integration.
• AR Try-On – Advanced real-time AR tracking for immersive and interactive product experiences.

• →Scale & Lead a High-Performing Team – Hire, mentor, and grow a world-class engineering team, fostering an environment of technical excellence, ownership, and innovation.
• →Hands-on Technical Leadership – Provide deep technical guidance, review code, and contribute to architecture and system design decisions.
• →Drive Engineering Execution – Ensure high-quality, scalable, and efficient software development processes, balancing speed with technical debt management.
• →Cross-functional Collaboration – Work closely with product, design, and business teams to drive alignment and innovation.
• →Champion Engineering Excellence – Implement best practices in code quality, system design, security, and performance optimization.
• →Optimize Performance & Scalability – Architect solutions that can handle increasing complexity, high throughput, and low-latency requirements.
• →Stay Ahead of the Curve – Keep up with industry trends in 3D graphics, AR, AI, and scalable distributed systems.

• 5+ years of experience in a similar leadership role, managing engineering teams and delivering production-ready products.
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development, including writing and reviewing code.
• Experience in at least one of the following areas is preferred: 3D graphics, AR, AI, C++ development, or large-scale systems.
• Proven track record of solving hard technical problems and driving successful product launches.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and occasionally with clients.
