Associate Front End Developer

Education:

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience

Required Experience:

· 1 year of software development experience

· Strong understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds

· Knowledge of data structures (JavaScript or any other programming language)

· Basic understanding of web mark-up, including HTML5 and CSS3

· Experience with development tools including IDEs, debuggers, bug tracking required

· Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, CVS or SVN

· Familiarity with using debugging tools such as the Chrome Developer Tools

Preferred Experience:

· Knowledge and hands-on experience with TypeScript

· Distributed application (client/server) development experience

· Game development experience

· Experience in UI development and animations

· Hands-on experience with Linux command line tools and using the shell
