Working with senior stakeholders, implementation partners, and cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in delivering strategic capabilities that improve how we operate and create value across the business.

  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with Business Leads, Product Owners, Change Leads and Technical Leads to ensure solutions are fit for purpose and meet business requirements across the Electronics Division.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary and multi-site teams delivering complex business transformation projects across UK sites and, where required, transnational teams.

  • Manage external implementation partners, suppliers and subcontractors contributing to project delivery.
  • Lead multi-functional Leonardo teams to deliver project objectives to agreed scope, quality, schedule and budget.
  • Identify and manage dependencies with other VCM projects, business initiatives and enterprise transformation programmes.

  • Identify key milestones and track progress against agreed deliverables, ensuring timely delivery of project outcomes.
  • Through regular engagement with stakeholders and key users, ensure delivered solutions meet approved business requirements and objectives.

  • Ensure full adherence to Leonardo's Lifecycle Management framework, owning required artefacts, stage-gate approvals and presenting project status at governance and gateway reviews.

  • Experience delivering digital transformation projects from implementation through to successful business adoption.
  • Experience delivering business improvement initiatives, including the management of external implementation partners and suppliers.
  • Ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Applies professional project management concepts in innovative and practical ways to improve business performance and ways of working.
  • Broad knowledge and experience across Supply Chain, Procurement and Value Chain processes within a complex organisation.

  • Able to engage with and influence a wide range of stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
  • Knowledge of change management principles and experience delivering projects that achieve successful business adoption and sustained benefits.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate options and maximise business value.
  • Experience managing third-party implementation partners and technology delivery vendors.
  • Strong financial management, governance, risk and benefits realisation experience.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
  • Experience in a procurement, supply chain or commercial environment is desirable.
