As a Research Associate in the Core Laboratory, you will be responsible for reviewing and quantifying echocardiographic images to support clinical studies and medical device development. You will contribute to the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of imaging data used in research and clinical evaluations. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you will help coordinate study activities, improve laboratory processes, and maintain compliance with established clinical and regulatory standards. This remote opportunity combines specialized imaging expertise with meaningful contributions to healthcare innovation. It is an excellent fit for a detail-oriented professional who values scientific rigor, collaboration, and continuous learning.

  • Analyze echocardiographic images: Review, quantify, and measure echocardiograms, with the possibility of analyzing other imaging modalities, such as vascular ultrasound, when required.
  • Support standardized analysis procedures: Contribute to the development and refinement of quantification guidelines, technical instructions, and analysis manuals to ensure consistency across studies.
  • Participate in system testing: Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and help verify that laboratory systems and applications meet operational and study requirements.
  • Monitor laboratory operations: Support the tracking and reporting of core laboratory activities and study progress, providing timely updates to clients and relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across disciplines: Work closely with biostatistics, statistical programming, project management, clinical monitoring, medical writing, and other teams to ensure seamless integration of imaging activities into broader clinical studies.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance: Ensure that all work adheres to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements, ethical principles, and established laboratory procedures.
  • Document activities accurately: Maintain complete and reliable records of imaging assessments, workflows, and other laboratory activities to support traceability, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
