Sensormatic Retail Security Systems Field Technician

As an Installation & Service Technician, you'll be the trusted face of Johnson Controls in the field, helping customers protect their people, products, and profits.

• →Install, troubleshoot, and repair inventory control and video surveillance equipment in retail environments.
• →Diagnose technical issues and deliver fast, effective solutions.
• →Work directly with customers, providing training and support to maximize system performance.
• →Manage service calls efficiently while maintaining accurate documentation.
• →Maintain parts inventory to maximize first-time fix rates and customer satisfaction.
• →Identify opportunities to improve customer operations and share insights with leadership.
• →Represent Johnson Controls with professionalism, technical expertise, and a customer-first mindset.

• You enjoy troubleshooting and solving technical problems.
• You communicate clearly and build strong customer relationships.

• EL06 License required.
• Strong understanding of electronics and networking fundamentals.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic PC skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders and work in a variety of field environments.

• Networking certifications.
• Experience with IP camera systems, DVRs, or NVRs.
• Security, surveillance, or low-voltage installation experience.
• A strong desire to learn and grow with new technologies.
