Site/Civil Project Manager

Dewberry is currently seeking a Site/Civil Project Manager for our Danville, VA office.  The successful candidate will have technical, project management, and market access responsibilities to lead site/civil design projects in the commercial, industrial, municipal and residential markets. We’re looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong drive to lead a team focused on these markets in the private and/or public sector.

• →Lead teams in all aspects of site/civil project design including site layout, site planning, grading, storm water management, erosion & sediment control, roadways, utilities, and permitting for commercial, industrial, municipal and residential projects.
• →Manage design for multiple projects.
• →Assist with business development/marketing/proposal efforts.
• →Oversee, train and mentor junior/mid-level staff.
• →Work closely with clients and agency staff, including attendance at public and/or construction meetings and also represent the company at other events as needed.
• →Ability to work on multiple project assignments concurrently.
• →Ability to work and interact with clients, maintain project budgets and schedules.
• →Ability to provide technical expertise to design staff.
• →Desire to work in a team environment.

• Minimum 8 years of directly related experience in the commercial/residential markets.
• BS degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Virginia PE license required.  North Carolina PE a plus.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong computer skills utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D, storm water modeling software, as well as Microsoft Office programs.
