Amazonian TPM Model, Critical Path Analysis, Risk Mitigation, Resource Allocation Methodologies: Expert-level Kanban, Scrum, Agile,
Our Client is a real estate developer creating AI-native, agentic homes and workplaces, with an intelligent agent that learns its occupants and adapts the environment toward wellness and longevity. Their work brings together robotics, hardware engineering, data analytics, wearables and agentic AI, all under one roof. Our Client runs a lab and experience centre where products move from prototype to real buildings, with a pipeline of thousands of units to deploy into.
Our Client is a fast-moving, founder-led organisation where every team has a seat at the table and a direct line to the leadership.
Responsibilities
~2 min read1. Cross-Functional Orchestration & Dependency Mapping
- →Identify and manage the “critical path” for complex product launches (e.g., integrating a new robot into a multi-tenant residential building).
- →Map out interdependencies between hardware lead times, software sprint cycles, and data model training milestones.
- →Ensure that the Robotics team knows what the Data Analytics team needs, and the Product team knows what the Deployment Engineers are capable of delivering.
2. Blockage Removal & Velocity Management
- →Act as the primary “Blocker Buster.” You are responsible for identifying, escalating, and resolving technical or resource-based hurdles that slow down any team.
- →Drive high-velocity execution using Kanban and Agile methodologies, ensuring that work is flowing and “Work in Progress” (WIP) is optimised.
- →Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives across multiple workstreams to maintain a high “heartbeat” of progress.
3. Strategic Alignment & Reporting
- →Maintain a “Single Source of Truth” for all project statuses, priorities, and objectives.
- →Translate complex technical progress into clear, accurate executive reports for leadership.
- →Ensure that every team member understands the Why behind their current priority, ensuring alignment with the client’s overarching commercial and residential goals.
4. Process Engineering & Governance
- →Develop and refine the “Operating System” for how the client builds products. This includes standardising how we move from prototype (Robotics Lab) to production deployment.
- →Establish clear KPIs for project health, delivery speed, and quality benchmarks.
- →Manage the “Change Management” process, ensuring that when a hardware spec changes, the software and data teams are updated instantly.
Requirements
~1 min read- Program Management: Amazonian TPM Model, Critical Path Analysis, Risk Mitigation, Resource Allocation
- Methodologies: Expert-level Kanban, Scrum, Agile, Lean Manufacturing principles
- Technical Literacy: Ability to speak “Engineer” across Robotics (ROS), AI (LLMs/RAG), and Infrastructure (Docker/K8s)
- Communication: Exceptional ability to distil complex technical status into concise executive summaries
- Tooling: Jira, Linear, Asana, Notion (Expert), and advanced data visualisation tools
- Leadership: “Chief of Staff” mindset: High emotional intelligence, decisive ownership, and radical accountability
- Experience in Complex Hardware/Software Integration: Proven track record of managing products that involve physical hardware (Robotics, IoT, or Wearables).
- Scale Experience: Experience managing programs that involve multi-tenant deployments or large-scale infrastructure rollouts.
- Systems Thinking: You don’t just see a task; you see the ripple effect that task has on five other teams.
- High-Pressure Decision Making: Comfortable making “good enough” decisions quickly to keep the momentum moving.
This is a high-leverage role with a direct impact on the company’s success. You are the person who makes the impossible possible by organising chaos into a structured, high-velocity machine. You will have a “seat at the table” for every major decision, shaping how our client builds the future of ambient intelligence.
Additional Suggestions for the Candidate
- Ownership Mindset: We are looking for someone who says “I will handle it” rather than “That’s not my department.”
- Data-Driven: You should be able to back up your project status with data, not just “feelings” about progress.
- The “Amazonian” Way: We value the ability to “Work Backwards.” Start with the customer’s need for a perfect smart home, and then map out every technical step required to get there.
