We invest in our people

At TAFE NSW, you will discover a diverse, dynamic, and collaborative environment, where you can innovate, create value, and do meaningful work.

We provide you with tools and ongoing training and professional development, health and wellbeing programs, and depending on your role, a 35 hour working week with a variety of flexible working options.

About the role

As a Senior Project Officer working within the Property Operations team at TAFE NSW, you'll be at the heart of delivering major projects that drive strategic outcomes. You’ll be involved in every phase of project planning and execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks are met. Beyond project delivery, you’ll cultivate strong relationships by playing a key role in communicating with the senior executive including preparing presentations, briefings and agendas that support outcomes for major projects. We are seeking someone with capabilities in communication, high-level organisation and program coordination, including meetings, reporting, agendas, and minute preparation. Experience in procurement would be advantageous, and Power BI would be desirable but not mandatory.

About You

You’re a dynamic project professional with the experience and foresight to lead initiatives from start to finish. Detail-oriented and highly organised, you thrive on juggling priorities and keeping teams aligned through effective meeting coordination and timely documentation. Your communication and negotiation skills allow you to engage and influence stakeholders with confidence, and you know how to deliver data and insights into meaningful reports. With a strong focus on collaboration, compliance, and continuous improvement, you bring both strategic thinking and a hands-on approach to delivering impactful outcomes.
