The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to established recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines. The role ensures that meals are prepared efficiently, consistently, and in a timely manner while maintaining proper food safety and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and instructions.
• Ensure food is properly portioned, cooked, and presented.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstation.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
• Ensure ingredients and supplies are properly stored and handled.
• Monitor food stock levels and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with food preparation and kitchen setup before service.
• Minimize food wastage and maintain portion control.
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Chef.

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment is an asset.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
