We are looking for a dynamic Sales Engineer  based in Bangalore to drive sales of 3M Industrial Filters across the South Region (Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala).   The role involves end‑to‑end customer management, technical evaluation, solution recommendation, and business growth across key industrial segments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage sales operations across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala.
  • Promote and sell 3M Industrial Filtration solutions to:
    • Automotive manufacturing companies
    • Breweries and distilleries
    • Pharmaceutical companies
    • Chemical and paint manufacturers
    • Water treatment OEMs and integrators
  • Identify customer needs, assess applications, and recommend suitable filtration solutions.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets for the assigned region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and industry stakeholders.
  • Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Manage payment collections and ensure adherence to credit policies.
  • Handle distributor coordination, performance monitoring, and support.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports, market intelligence, and competitor tracking.
  • Travel extensively within the region to meet customers and support opportunities.
  • Education: Graduate Engineer in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Production (preferred).
  • Experience: 2–3 years of experience in industrial sales, preferably in filtration, capital equipment, process consumables, or similar technical products.
  • Strong technical understanding and ability to explain product applications.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-driven, customer-focused, and willing to travel extensively.
  • Ability to work independently and handle a wide customer base.
