Your Role with Us

As a Talent Acquisition Adviser at AIA New Zealand, you play a key role in helping the business attract and secure outstanding talent while delivering an exceptional candidate experience. Working closely with leaders across the organisation, you guide recruitment activities from initial hiring discussions through to appointment, providing trusted advice and practical solutions that meet current and future workforce needs. You will build strong relationships with candidates and stakeholders, champion AIA’s employer brand, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance recruitment outcomes, strengthen talent pipelines, and support our purpose of helping people live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.

  • Partner with hiring leaders to shape recruitment strategies that attract high-quality talent and support business goals.

  • Deliver seamless end-to-end recruitment processes that balance candidate experience, quality outcomes, and timely hiring decisions.

  • Build and maintain diverse talent pipelines through targeted sourcing, market research, referrals, and employer branding activities.

  • Strengthen AIA’s reputation as an employer of choice by creating positive and engaging candidate experiences at every stage.

  • Improve recruitment efficiency by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, systems, and ways of working.

  • Maintain accurate recruitment data and reporting that supports informed decision-making and compliance standards.

  • You have experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes and building strong partnerships with hiring leaders and candidates.

  • You bring effective communication skills, using clear advice, active listening, and constructive feedback to support great hiring outcomes.

  • You have the ability to analyse information, evaluate options, and make sound recommendations in a fast-paced environment.

  • You bring strong organisational skills and attention to detail when managing recruitment activity, compliance requirements, and data accuracy.

  • You may also have experience promoting employer brand initiatives, talent attraction campaigns, or candidate engagement activities.

  • It is great if you have knowledge of corporate recruitment environments, remuneration practices, HR systems, or workforce planning approaches.
