ACG_3505_JOB Our client is a consulting company that is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm. Job Overview The role is based at a steel processing center located in an industrial zone in Southern Vietnam. The workplace is approximately one hour by car from central Ho Chi Minh City. The role involves working with a diverse customer base, including electronics manufacturers and supporting vendors. The position covers processing and delivery of high-quality coated and plated steel materials, including slitting and shearing according to customer requirements, with JIT (Just-In-Time) delivery. Main customers operate in the home appliance manufacturing sector, requiring steel materials for products such as TVs, washing machines, and refrigerators. The role requires strong understanding of steel service centers (coil centers) and industry knowledge, along with proactive communication and close customer management to capture VOC (Voice of Customer) and build a differentiated sales approach. Candidates should have prior experience in coil centers and be able to communicate effectively with both clients and internal teams in Korean, English, and Vietnamese. Strong leadership, teamwork, dedication, customer relationship management skills, and persistence are required, along with the ability to develop new business and maintain external relationships. Job Responsibilities Purchasing / Sales Manage the full sales process through ERP based on SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), including order receipt, purchasing, inbound, customs clearance, inventory, production instruction, delivery, invoicing, collection, and after-sales service through daily customer management. Oversee import-export processes for EPE (Export Processing Enterprises), from raw material customs clearance to finished goods delivery. Manage customer demand including quality control, complaint handling, and monitoring market trends and pricing. Plan and procure raw materials based on a 16-week SOP. Train and manage Sales/Purchasing team members. Develop and execute weekly, monthly, and annual sales plans. Inventory Management Manage procurement-to-inbound processes systematically through ERP after placing raw material orders. Place purchase orders by supplier based on customer demand. Monitor supplier production, shipment, and documentation. Manage Purchase Orders and forecasts for each customer. Conduct regular customer visits to review production schedules and plans. Adjust existing purchase orders based on updated production schedules to optimize inventory levels. Coordinate with production teams to track customer production and delivery schedules. Customer Management Strengthen customer relationships through regular visits, calls, emails, SMS, and meetings, including business meals, to understand customer needs and enhance engagement. Manage after-sales services, including quality control and payment collection. Gather customer VOC, identify improvement areas, and implement corrective actions promptly. Monitor competitor activities to prevent customer loss and expand business opportunities. Business Development Develop new customers. Conduct market research and area analysis to identify new customer segments. Expand sales by targeting and visiting potential customers. Continuously engage and manage prospects to convert them into active customers. Analyze industry trends on an ongoing basis. Requirements Position Level Assistant Manager ~ Deputy General Manager Work Experience Experience in sales to home appliance manufacturers. Experience in steel-related sales and import-export. Experience working at steel coil centers (domestic or overseas). Job Knowledge Strong understanding of steel industry and coil center operations. Knowledge of purchasing, shipping, and logistics processes. Practical experience in import-export operations. Years of Experience 3 to 15 years of relevant experiences Required Competencies Ability to communicate effectively in Korean, English, and Vietnamese. Proactive, results-driven, and challenge-oriented mindset. Willingness and ability to work long-term in Vietnam.
