This is a true sales position for someone who enjoys developing relationships, conducting site tours, creating memorable event experiences, and closing high-value business. The Social Sales Manager will own the social segment and be responsible for driving revenue across guest rooms, food & beverage, and event-space rental.

  • Drive wedding and social-event sales through proactive prospecting, relationship development, referrals, and inbound lead conversion

  • Manage the sales process from initial inquiry through site tour, proposal, negotiation, and signed agreement

  • Achieve established revenue goals across guest rooms, F&B, and event-space rental

  • Maximize the total value of each event through room blocks, wedding-weekend activities, food & beverage, and additional event opportunities

  • Develop relationships with wedding planners, event professionals, referral partners, and other sources of social business

  • Conduct compelling property tours and site inspections for prospective clients

  • Create customized proposals and experiences based on each client's needs

  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate account activity within hotel sales and CRM systems

  • Partner closely with events and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale through execution

  • Monitor market activity, competitive venues, and booking trends to identify new opportunities

  • Represent the property at industry events, networking functions, wedding-related events, and sales activities

The ideal candidate is a proven hospitality salesperson with experience selling weddings and high-value social events. We are particularly interested in candidates from boutique hotels, resorts, luxury properties, destination wedding venues, wineries, private clubs, and other upscale event-driven environments.

Candidates should be comfortable selling the complete event experience, including guestrooms, catering/F&B, venue rental, and related wedding-weekend events—not simply coordinating events after they have been booked.

  • 3+ years of hospitality, catering, wedding, or social-event sales experience

  • Demonstrated success generating and closing high-value event business

  • Experience working toward defined sales and revenue goals

  • Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills

  • Experience conducting site tours, developing proposals, negotiating, and closing

  • Understanding of guestroom blocks and hotel/group room revenue

  • Knowledge of catering, F&B, and event-space sales
