Ambient.ai is on a mission to prevent every security incident possible, and we’re looking for a VP of Sales – East to lead the charge. Reporting directly to Jeff Huisman, CRO, you will be a key architect of our growth, managing a team of 4-6 Regional Sales Managers. This role is for a natural leader who is as energized by developing people as they are by closing seven-figure deals with Fortune 100 customers. If you are an expert at scaling strategic sales processes and inspiring teams to win in a high-stakes market, we want to hear from you.
Responsible for achieving revenue growth across all revenue channels for Ambient throughout the East Coast region
Coach sales team on the company-adopted sales methodologies (MEDDPICC, Force Management, Command of the Message) to ensure value is experienced quickly by prospects and customers
Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise sales strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and objectives
Set clear sales targets and objectives, and continually assess and adjust the strategy as needed to meet or exceed revenue goals
Responsible for recruitment and hiring top enterprise sales talent
Delivers timely and accurate sales forecasts to the leadership team
Demonstrated knowledge and interest in the physical security industry
Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Ability to travel
10+ years of experience in enterprise software sales with a focus on hunter roles and new customer acquisition & pipeline growth
4+ years of experience managing enterprise sales teams; hiring and training talent at scale
Outstanding track record of success managing enterprise accounts and opportunities to closure, consistent over-attainment of quotas of $1M annual recurring revenue
Success in small/fast-growing company environments
Understands record keeping, sales process, and sales methodologies (MEDDPICC, etc)
Driven and loves to win
