Arc Herkimer is seeking a creative and passionate Head Chef to lead the culinary experience at our MV Golf & Kucerak Event Center in Little Falls, NY. From daily dining to unforgettable banquets and catering events, the Head Chef ensures every dish exceeds the expectations of our members and guests. Salary: $63,000+ based on experience
Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Hours: Vary; must have a flexible workday and ability to work evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the kitchen team including Sous Chef, Line Cooks, Prep Staff, and Dishwashers
• Plan and execute seasonal menus, weekly specials, and event menus
• Oversee food preparation for daily service, banquets, and catering events
• Ensure high standards for food quality, presentation, and consistency
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and health department standards
• Manage food ordering, supplier relationships, and inventory
• Collaborate with the Events Coordinator on banquet and catering events
• Monitor kitchen equipment and support efficient kitchen operations

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Specialty or technical culinary training preferred
• Minimum 5 years culinary experience required
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience required
• Knowledge of kitchen operations, food cost and inventory principles, and food safety standards
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
• Arc Herkimer approvable driver’s license required
