About the Role

Are you passionate about building strong commercial partnerships and driving strategic growth? As a Account Executive / Senior Account Executive at Avarda, you will take full ownership of a portfolio of high‑value merchants across multiple markets. Your goal will be to drive revenue growth, strengthen partnerships, and ensure best-in-class service delivery. The Account Executive / Senior Account Executive will act as a strategic advisor, helping merchants leverage Avardas payment solutions to achieve their business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, nurture, and grow a portfolio of key merchants across several markets.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for both operational and strategic matters.

    Drive account expansion through upselling, cross‑selling, and long‑term business planning.

  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and deliver clear insights, performance updates, and actionable recommendations.

  • Handle contract renewals and contribute to commercial negotiations.

  • Analyze account performance (e.g., conversion rates, payment method adoption) to identify improvement areas.

  • Present data-driven recommendations that enhance results and support merchants’ business goals.

  • Work closely with Product, Risk, Support, and other internal teams to ensure seamless merchant experiences.

  • Monitor market and merchant trends to identify opportunities for innovation and product enhancement.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of growing and retaining key accounts.

  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Comfortable working with data and KPIs to drive decisions and uncover insights.

  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a high level of ownership and independence.

  • Solid understanding of payment flows, checkout optimization, and digital commerce.

  • Excellent in Norwegian and English language, both written and spoken.

    Previous experience within payments and/or e-commerce.

  • Experience collaborating with both external partners and internal stakeholders in a cross-functional environment.
