Banquet Chef

Baltimore Country Club was founded in 1898 and it was a success from the start, with 600 members enjoying its 150-acre facility less than five miles from downtown Baltimore. Just one year after opening, the Club gained immediate recognition in the golf world by hosting the fifth United States Open Championship. Today, the Club is nearly 3,400 members strong with two campuses. It is widely recognized as one of the top 50 country clubs in the nation and top 100 in the world. The full-time Banquet Chef will be responsible for managing the Club's banquet kitchens within both clubhouses, overseeing menu development, and ensuring the timely preparation and high quality execution of all food served to Members and Guests. This individual will lead, train, and develop the Banquet team while directing and participating in food preparation, seasoning, cooking, and expediting to ensure consistent quality, presentation, and service for all banquet events.

The ideal candidate must have proven experience in successfully leading a culinary staff specifically with large-scale banquet events, and experience with upscale casual American cuisines and other cuisines common in the North Atlantic region. Candidates must also have a working knowledge of culinary math, ordering, and Microsoft Word and Excel. A culinary school graduate or equivalent industry experience is required.
