Responsibilities

  • Lead consultative conversations with school and district stakeholders to uncover program goals, funding paths, buying timelines, and success measures.
  • Guide opportunities from first meeting through signed agreement, including discovery, solution alignment, proposal development, and contract close.
  • Translate customer priorities into a compelling business case tied to student engagement, career readiness, and workforce aligned learning outcomes.
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and follow up activity within a CRM environment.
  • Partner closely with internal demand generation, customer success, and leadership teams to accelerate deal progress and improve win rates.
  • Build credibility with education leaders by asking thoughtful questions, presenting clearly, and creating strong next steps after every interaction.
  • Use a repeatable sales process, coachability, and personal accountability to improve performance week over week.
  • Travel selectively for conferences, field meetings, and relationship building activities that support regional growth.
  • You run strong discovery meetings and identify real priorities, urgency, and decision criteria.
  • You keep opportunities moving with consistency, professionalism, and clear next steps.
  • You connect the solution to district level goals, budget realities, and measurable outcomes.
  • You manage your pipeline with structure and take ownership of your performance.
  • Experience in consultative sales, ideally within education, software, curriculum, SaaS, public sector, or a similarly complex buying environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with administrators and institutional stakeholders.
  • Comfort working in a growth environment where process, adaptability, and healthy competitiveness all matter.
  • Ability to manage a full sales cycle and stay organized across multiple opportunities.
  • Willingness to receive coaching, sharpen your craft, and operate with accountability.
  • Availability to work across U.S. time zones.
  • Experience with CRM tools and modern sales workflows.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to K 12 sales, workforce development, CTE, digital learning, or mission driven solution selling.
  • Experience working with both software and service or curriculum-based offerings.
  • A track record of quota attainment, strong follow through, and relationship-based selling.
