DAS Field Engineer Location: Hybrid, Washington, DC and Baltimore area A growing communications infrastructure team is adding a field focused DAS professional to support high visibility in building wireless projects across the DMV.
Lead field commissioning, testing, and performance validation for in building wireless systems across healthcare, commercial, and other complex environments in the DMV region.
Hands on DAS experience in commissioning, integration, field testing, and troubleshooting. Background working with wireless carrier environments, especially Verizon or AT and T related projects, is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead field commissioning, testing, and performance validation for in building wireless systems across healthcare, commercial, and other complex environments in the DMV region.
- →Support optimization, troubleshooting, and post installation acceptance activities for DAS deployments, with particular relevance to JMA and CommScope systems. Experience with platforms such as SOLiD, ADRF, or similar OEMs is also valuable.
- →Partner closely with senior RF leadership on a major Bethesda area program, spending most of your time in the field while coordinating with installation partners, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- →Perform system checks, signal measurements, alarm review, and coverage verification using common RF test methods and field tools to confirm quality and readiness for service.
- →Maintain accurate service records, testing notes, and corrective action updates to support deployment turnover, ongoing maintenance, and future improvements.
- →Assist with maintenance growth initiatives by helping keep installed systems operating reliably over time and responding effectively when performance issues arise.
- Hands on DAS experience in commissioning, integration, field testing, and troubleshooting.
- Background working with wireless carrier environments, especially Verizon or AT and T related projects, is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of RF behavior, in building coverage performance, and practical field execution. Familiarity with iBwave is welcome, but this position is centered more on field delivery than design ownership.
- Ability to work independently, communicate clearly on job sites, and build strong relationships with customers and teammates.
- Must be based in the DC, Maryland, Virginia region and comfortable with regular local travel. U.S. citizenship is required.
