Responsibilities

  • Represent the company in selling equipment within a designated geographic area.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product features and benefits across all saleable equipment.
  • Implement and maintain regular call cycles within your territory.
  • Monitor competitor activity and promptly communicate findings to management.
  • Maintain comprehensive customer information for your territory to support effective sales management.
  • Follow a defined sales process.
  • Achieve sales objectives, including market share targets, as set by Brandt.
  • Maintain assigned company vehicles and equipment.
  • Assist with the preparation and execution of customer events.
  • Conduct field demonstrations of new equipment.
  • Monitor trends in customer business activity.
  • Stay informed about available financing options to assist customers with their purchases.
  • Attend relevant training events and seminars.
  • Provide required sales reports to management.
  • Accurately assess used equipment values for trade-in purposes.
  • Sales industry experience, with a knowledge of heavy equipment, is an advantage.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and results-driven.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and develop new accounts.
  • Ability to travel internationally; a valid passport is required (or the ability to obtain one).
