Kitchen Manager

Tigg's Canteen Services is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and motivated Kitchen Manager to join our team at St. Joseph County Jail in Centreville, MI.

As Kitchen Manager, you will play an important role in daily food service operations. You will help lead kitchen activities, assist with meal preparation, and ensure that food service duties are completed efficiently and safely.

Qualified candidates should be able to:

• Work effectively in a structured correctional environment.
• Read and follow company recipes and preparation instructions.
• Lead, instruct, and assist with daily kitchen responsibilities.
• Prepare meals, bake, cook, and assist with kitchen cleanup.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Flexibility to work varying days and hours between 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
• Ability to obtain the required facility clearance and approval.

No prior kitchen experience? Don't let that stop you! Previous food service experience is a plus, but Tigg's Canteen Services is willing to train the right person.
