Kitchen Manager

Tigg's Canteen Services is seeking a dependable and motivated individual for a Permanent Full-Time Kitchen Manager position at Cheboygan County Jail in Cheboygan, Michigan.

We're looking for someone with integrity, a strong work ethic, a positive can-do attitude, and the ability to work successfully in a structured correctional environment. If you enjoy preparing meals and helping lead kitchen activities, we'd love to hear from you!

As a Lead Cook, you'll help support daily kitchen operations and meal preparation. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing meals and assisting with cooking and baking.
• Leading, instructing, and assisting with food preparation activities.
• Following company recipes and established procedures.
• Completing kitchen cleanup and helping maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Working effectively in a structured correctional facility.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow company recipes and instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work well in a structured correctional environment.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Flexibility to work varying days and shifts between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
• Approval to enter the facility through the required clearance process.
