- →Relationship building with key customer personnel who influence the buying decision, can include various functions (operations, senior mgmt., R&D, etc.)

- →Travel as necessary to meet business objectives
- →Maintains and cultivates in – depth customer contacts to ensure maximum sales penetration
- →Performs other duties as required.
- →Actively participates in Operational Excellence to improvement processes, and utilizes tools such as 5S, Kaizen, Daily Management Control, Standard Work and Problem Solving.

- Work directly with customer service, other account managers, marketing mgmt., R&D, plant mgmt., quality assurance, credit & collections, distribution, and senior sales mgmt.
- Develop strategies and tactics, along with gaining customer and market intelligence, either directly or via distributor network.
Requirements

- Incumbent should possess a bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (preferably chemistry or chemical engineering)
- 10+ years of sales or comparable experience.
- Proficiency in CRM and sales analytics
- Core competencies: communication, planning, organizing, facilitating, time management, and a drive towards results
- Strong English language skills are required
- Strategic thinker with the ability to deliver results through tactical management
- Strong business and financial acumen, ability to understand budgets and link sales performance to P&L impact
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Strategic pricing
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a group
- “Can do” attitude
- Ability to understand and coordinate the interrelationships between projects stakeholders
- Exceptional communication and people skills

- Required to travel within sales region and nationally.
- Might work on occasion in the customer’s production site or R&D areas.
