Position: Executive Chef (Ship Experienced)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team on board one of our luxury cruise ships. The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the ship's culinary operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management. The ideal candidate will have previous ship experience and a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and develop menus for all onboard restaurants, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and guest preferences

- Oversee the preparation and presentation of all meals, ensuring high quality and consistency

- Manage and train a team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff to maintain a high level of performance and service

- Monitor food and supply inventory levels, placing orders as needed to maintain adequate stock

- Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations, as well as company policies and procedures

- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure a seamless guest experience

- Continuously seek ways to improve and enhance the culinary offerings on board

Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef, preferably in a cruise ship setting

- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

- Extensive knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment

- Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed

- Must hold a valid passport and be able to pass a background check
