The Sales Finance Manager is a key finance business partner to the Sales organization, helping translate commercial strategy, and insights into financial plans, and actions.

As North America evolves to a customer-led operating model, the role will partner closely with Sales and cross-functional teams to support execution of our Route to Consumer, improve commercial performance and ensure resources are deployed effectively.

The role combines strong financial fundamentals with commercial understanding. It uses customer, channel, market, and financial insights to find opportunities and risks. It also improves decision making and supports delivery of our financial commitments. The Sales Finance Manager will also help maintain a strong control environment while maximizing Diageo’s finance processes, systems, data and capabilities to improve efficiency and drive growth.

Partner with Sales teams to drive business performance through strong financial and commercial insights, supporting delivery of financial targets and an effective control environment. Support the execution of commercial and Route to Consumer priorities by translating customer, channel and financial performance into clear opportunities, risks and recommended actions. Provide robust analytics and decision support across planning, forecasting, investment and performance management.

  • Support delivery of the financial plan across P&L, cash and balance sheet metrics for the assigned area of responsibility, providing clear access to performance, risks and opportunities.
  • Partner with Sales teams to translate commercial priorities into annual operating plans and forecasts, providing financial insight and recommended prioritization.

  • Maintain strong financial controls and governance, ensuring commercial decisions operate within Diageo’s financial and compliance framework.
  • Find opportunities to simplify and improve Finance processes, eliminating low-value activity and growing time spent on commercial insight.

  • Business partner with regional Sales leaders and teams, building strong relationships and providing financial and commercial insight to improve performance.
