As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for drive growth across Brazil by managing a diverse portfolio of local clients in the flavors industry. As an Account Manager at dsm-firmenich, you’ll build pipeline, expand market share, and co-create tailored solutions with customers. This role blends relationship management with hunting and offers strong development into senior commercial leadership.

Your key responsibilities
* Build and nurture strong customer relationships, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
* Drive consistent delivery of revenue growth, profitability, and margin targets across your account portfolio.
* Identify, develop, and convert strategic opportunities, balancing new business development (hunting) with account expansion.
* Actively manage and evolve your customer pipeline, ensuring sustainable long-term growth.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, Marketing, Application) to co-create differentiated customer solutions.
* Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing commercial team, sharing market insights and best practices.
* Maintain strong ownership of account performance, ensuring healthy business fundamentals and customer satisfaction.
You Bring
* Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields;
* Experience in B2B commercial roles, preferably within the flavors/aromas industry.
* Proven experience managing a portfolio of clients and driving both account growth and new business development.
* Strong understanding of value proposition selling, ideally with exposure to technical or solution-based sales environments.
* Experience working cross-functionally with teams such as R&D, Marketing, and Application.
* Advanced English (written and spoken).
* Availability to travel (~40% of the time);
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders (including technical teams).
