We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead regional growth across the Niagara area for a well-established organization in the Construction and HVAC industry. This role is based in St. Catharines, Ontario and focuses on building, expanding, and strengthening a high-performing HVAC dealer network. This is a high-impact, externally facing role for a commercially driven professional who thrives in a competitive, fast-paced environment. You’ll act as a trusted partner to dealers, a strategic driver of growth initiatives, and a brand ambassador in the market. Key Responsibilities Recruit, onboard, and develop HVAC dealer partners throughout the Niagara region Own and exceed sales revenue and gross profit targets Design and execute territory-specific growth strategies aligned with regional market needs Serve as a key external representative, building long-term relationships grounded in trust and value Deliver expert product knowledge, training, and proactive solutions to dealer partners Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities Collaborate cross-functionally with internal sales, operations, and support teams to drive customer success Maintain accurate reporting, forecasting, and pipeline management Requirements 5+ years of business development or sales experience within the Construction and/or HVAC industry Proven success managing dealer territories or regional accounts Post-secondary education in Business or a related field Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Ability to work effectively across multiple internal teams and stakeholders Familiarity with major HVAC equipment brands is a strong asset Willingness to travel extensively (~90% within territory) Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required Benefits Our client offers a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support both performance and well-being: Competitive base salary + commission Automobile allowance Company-sponsored pension plan Extended health, dental, disability, and life insurance Paid time off Opportunity to join a growth-oriented, collaborative organization with long-term career potential
